Xfinity stream and iOS 16

I can no longer get audio when playing Xfinity Stream programs to TV from my iPhone 12 Pro through HDMI. Video appears on the tv screen, but no audio. This is new since the phone upgraded to iOS 16.

if I switch to my iPad with iOS 15, the audio still works fine through HDMI connection.

this must be a problem with compatibility between Zfinity Stream and iOS 16. Can Apple fix this quickly please?

Are you using an Apple-branded Lightning Digital AV Adapter?
Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPhone
