Watch SE volume doesn’t work

My question:

The volume of my Apple Watch SE is suddenly much lower. Both Siri and the guidance on the Runkeeper app. With Siri's Settings it is set to maximum volume, but that is not the case. This was the case before, then volume was much better.

Relevant software and hardware I use:

Apple Watch SE, WatchOS up to date 9.1

What I have already found or tried:

Completely rebooted, volume all the way down an turned up again in settings.

Hey bas148,

You completed some great steps to try to resolve this issue. In your troubleshooting, did you compare what the Apple Watch shows for your sound setting too? If not, take a moment to do that now to see if they match: Change the audio and notification settings on your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Change settings from your iPhone
On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app, go to the My Watch tab, and tap Sounds & Haptics.

Also make sure the Control Center doesn't show your Apple Watch is muted. Those steps can also be found in the guide above under "How to mute your Apple Watch".

If you use a case with your Apple Watch, remove it to see if you notice a difference as it could be blocking the speaker.

Keep us posted. Take care!
