Apple Watch Wrist Band Too Large

I bought a series 8 Apple Watch at Best Buy but the wrist band is too large. Can I exchange the M/L wrist band for a S/M wrist band at an Apple Store?

they view it as one unit so you only exchange the whole packet

You'd need to have that conversation with BestBuy as that is who you purchased it from.

I made the exchange at Best Buy. It was correct that they view the Apple Watch, including the wrist band, as one unit. I got a new watch with the smaller wrist band.

I know Apple views it as such. I wasn't sure BestBuy does, but that's who you need to work with, so I'm glad you got what you needed.
