Apple Watch audio cuts out after a few seconds

Has anyone found a fix for the audio on their AirPods cutting out any a few seconds after connecting? The watch shows that the music is still playing but nothing is heard on my AirPods. I’ve seen a lot of people post they are having the same problem but no resolution

This problem is all over the Internet, and Apple is not solving the problem. It's not that the airpods disconnect; it's that music stops playing after a few seconds, but the airpods stay connected. You can control tracks, etc., and the screen on the iWatch suggests that music is still being played, but it can't be heard on the airpods. This is true when the bluetooth works with other headphones, and true when there is no other bluetooth disturbance.

Hey there gabycc12,

It's possible there's an issue with the connection between your AirPods and Apple Watch or iPhone. Try the steps below to unpair your AirPods and pair them again to test if that helps:

Unpair from your iPhone:

1. Tap Settings > Bluetooth.
2. Find the device that you want to unpair and tap the Info button .
3. Tap Forget This Device.
4. Restart your iPhone.

Unpair from your Apple Watch:

1. Tap Settings > Bluetooth on your Apple Watch.
2. Tap  next to your accessory.
3. Tap Forget Device.

Continue with pairing again here: Use AirPods and other Bluetooth accessories with Apple Watch - Apple Support

If this persists, try the steps in the first section of this resource next: If the sound from your wireless headphones cuts out or is distorted - Apple Support

Take care!
