Unexpected changes to app after IOS upgrade

After upgrading my iPad to IOS16 my iBooks app works quite differently and has lost its user friendliness. How do get my iBooks app back to how it was before the IOS upgrade?

Old iBooks Version Will it ever be possible to modify the iBooks app, to go back to the old version? The app was wonderful and worked perfectly until this new iOS. I loved iBooks and have my entire library on it, but the app now is absolutely awful.
