Time Lapse did not fully record

I recorded a time lapse for 2hrs+ however when I checked it only recorded 1 second. I know it was recording the whole time because I kept checking.

Is there any way to recover the whole video?

iPhone 11, iOS 15

Hey there, and welcome to Apple Support Communities 나나,

We can certainly understand your concern and can help provide some insight.

If the system didn't save the recording, then there will be no way to recover said file. However, we do recommend checking your recently deleted folder to see if there is a possibility the file went there. Check out these steps for more information on how to recover deleted files.

" Recover a file that you deleted

When you delete a file from iCloud Drive or On My [device], it goes into your Recently Deleted folder. After 30 days, your files are removed from Recently Deleted.

If you change your mind or accidentally delete a file, you have 30 days to get it back.

How to recover a file that you deleted on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. In the Files app, tap the Browse tab.
  2. Go to Locations.
  3. Tap Recently Deleted.

iPhone showing the Browse tab in the Files app, with Recently Deleted highlighted for emphasis.

4. Select the file that you want to keep and tap Recover."

For additional information, check out this link: Delete a file or recover a file that you deleted from the Files app - Apple Support

These steps will help ensure your device is working with ease and can fix common issues like the ones you’re experiencing.

Kindest regards!
