Album and Podcast Artwork Randomly Incorrect

After syncing my new iPhone 14Pro, the album and podcast artwork is very incorrect. Even albums that have artwork are in the wrong place. (Avril Lavigne album artwork in Lady Gaga album artwork, for example). I had this issue before with albums that didn't have artwork getting other artwork put in, which I understand, but this is bananas. Do I have to go through every album and correct it like I did before? How can I prevent it from happening when I sync my phone again? Please help!

I am experiencing the same. After syncing from my MacBook to my iPhone 14, album artwork on the iPhone 14 is a mess. Most all album artwork on the iPhone is incorrect. Album artwork of one apparently random album is repeated and associated with multiple other albums. Even playlists are associated with album artwork that isn't close to the playlist song list. Album artwork in Apple Music on the MacBook remains correct. All software on both the MacBook and the iPhone is up to date. I have attempted to re-sync all music but nothing is resolved. My collection includes almost 2000 albums. Correcting this manually is not an option.

To clarify, does this only occur with specific albums or all albums? If this occurs with only specific albums, you can change the artwork by following the actions here:

Add artwork to content in Music on Mac - Apple Support

It happens with probably 90% of all my music. No rhyme or reason, just all over the place. No chance I can manually fix this again, way too time consuming and it goes right back after syncing.

It bothers me so much because I relied on the artwork to recognize the album/song/artist. I am super type A and it’s making me crazy. Lol. I hope they figure out a fix soon!
