Payment method

Are you adding the new payment method in settings>tap name at top of screen>media and purchases>view account>manage payments>add payment method? If so, then make sure you are using 2 digits for the month and 4 digits for the year when entering the expiration date on card. Should look like this 02/2022.

Since updating to 16.1 I have also noticed in iCloud setting payment section it now opens up Apple Music App and you have to put details there but it just hangs. What was wrong with using the iOS iCloud settings. I don’t even use Apple Music. It’s all very odd.

Yes, it takes you through Apple Music now when you use the payment and shipping route, but the media and purchases route is still the same as before.
