I bought airpods pro 2nd gen during the black friday sale on amazon and it just came today and one thing that I noticed is in the back of the case it still say assembled in china but I read somewhere that the 2nd generation airpods pro is assembled in vietnam and not in china

Dude if you pair with an apple device - or look up on apples serial number / warranty site, it will confirm.
but there is no new vs refurb vs custom vs whatever serial difference like iPhone.
this thread is getting sketchier - if you have a concern, return to AMZN and buy from apple

As long as the AirPods Pro were sold directly by Amazon (not a Marketplace seller), the AirPods are not fake.
Both of my APP2 are made in China.
My APP1 (actually, all three of them) are made in Vietnam.
I have no idea through the internet.
As per RachT1, if "sold by Amazon.com", they are most likely - but not 100% - real.
If they are sold by a marketplace seller, there is a chance they are fake.
I got it from amazon and not from marketplace seller but I still saw some reviews saying they’re selling fake ones or refurbished ones
