I cannot add loyalty cards to my iPhone Wallet

There is no such button. Most such cards are added through the providers app (eg. to add the Starbucks loyalty card to your wallet you need to go through the Starbucks app) or through an email link sent to you.

not sure what that list is outside of merchants that may offer additional cash back or discounts when using Apple Pay.

i have tried different gift cards/bookings such as BestBuy, Hotels.Com, etc. but none of them have such icon as add to the wallet. I could only add my Aeroplan card and an Airbnb booking to my wallet using that feature.

esides, since I am switching from android, I am wondering if there is a way to take the front and back photos of the loyalty cards and store them all within the wallet(?)

You can store pictures in photos but not in the wallet
