Can I disable the "Recently Deleted Messages" feature? If I delete a message, then I really want it be be deleted. I don't want 3 extra steps to make it really go away.

Actually, it takes 5 more clicks to permanently delete a message if you don't want to wait 30 days for it to go away. I am constantly getting messages about my storage being nearly full and asking me to buy more, or delete some data. This will just make it worse.

No
It only takes one step. Delete the message and it will go to Recently Deleted. The message will be automatically deleted after 30 days.
Text messages are tiny. If they are generating a warning to delete content there will come a time when your phone will crash and have to be restored to factory settings, without any of the data currently on the phone. An iPhone should have at least 10% of its storage free at all times.
Tell Apple what you want. I'll stick with a one tap method.
