Safari Not working with VPN on since Ventura update.

Since installing Ventura, I cant connect to ANY sites if my Norton VPN is on. Switching VPN off allows it all to load perfectly as usual. Obviously this defeats the object of having VPN.

No other browsers are affected. Firefox and Chrome work fine wiht VPN. I prefer Safari but looks like its the end of the road for me with Safari. Always problems after upgrades.

Anyone else have this problem?

Didnt really answer the question, but ok. I use VPN to prevent key loggers identifing my IP when visiting sites that may not be secure. VPN is good for this. Its not Norton that is to blame, as all other browers are fine. I dont care that Norton makes logs, they are not the threat. Its yet another Apple move by screwing around with defaults after upgrades.

A VPN should be used as required to access your work or school network.

The notion that routing your entire internet traffic through a third party vpn provider is increasing your safety is deeply misguided.

Public VPN are anything but private:

If you are determined to use this service, ask the providers of that vpn software for an updated version.
