I am not able to mirror my iPhone 11 iOS 16.0.2 screen to Macbook Air M1 Ventura 13.0.1. Everytime I connect my iPhone to my Mac, the only option for Quicktime New Movie Recording is the continuity camera option for iPhone. Instead of iPhone screen, Quicktime shows iPhone camera. Need help. Thanks!

Having the same issue with an iPhone that is updated to the latest 16.1.1. It would appear that the option to mirror/display the iPhone screen using Quicktime and a lightning cable has been superseded by the 'continuity camera', with no ability to display what is on the iPhone screen.
Any hints would be appreciated.

If your iPhone is running iOS 16.0.2, you'll want to update to the latest which is iOS 16.1.1. Your iOS not being update can cause unexpected behaviors.
To update your iPhone:
1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4. Tap Install Now
Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
Once up to date, you can test to see if this continues.
