how to recover deleted text

If you're on iOS 16, open Messages, then select "Edit," then select "Show Recently Deleted." I hope this helps!

Note.....you must install iOS 16......before.....you delete the message in order to have it show up in Recently Deleted. The message will only stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days before it is permanently deleted.

If you deleted the message....before.....you installed iOS 16, the message is gone.
