Safari repeatedly closing unexpectedly

Hi everyone, the safari browser on my M1 Macbook air keeps crashing repeatedly as soon as i visit any website followed by a crash report. If i don't visit any website then it doesn't crash. Chrome seems to work just fine. I updated my laptop to the latest MacOS Ventura 13.0.1 but the issue still stands. Can someone please give me your valuable suggestion Thankyou

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 13.0

Hello zunnoor48,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities about Safari crashing on your Mac. We're happy to help.

  1. Open it, but do not visit any website.
  2. Clear all the history: Clear your browsing history in Safari on Mac - Apple Support
  3. Quit Safari again by going to Safari on the top Menu bar > Quit.
  4. While holding the left side Shift key, reopen Safari.
  5. Test.

If it is still crashing while visiting websites, go into the troubleshooting here: If an app freezes or quits unexpectedly on Mac - Apple Support

Thanks.
