New iPhone 14 asking to sign into an old Apple ID

Hi, I'm trying to set up my new iPhone 14 and I cannot progress because of the pop up "Sign in with Apple ID" is showing an old email address/AppleID that I haven't used in years and have no access to the password. It's maddening because I can't even access the Settings on the phone. How can I get it to recognize my actual current Apple ID? And no, it's not one of my Reachable At email addresses. Any help much appreciated.
