Music is missing from my iPad iTunes and there is no option to turn on sync in settings under music

Only Apple Music subscribers have an option to turn on Sync Library. If purchased music is missing from your iPad it may have been inadvertently hidden. Go to the iTunes Store and scroll up to your Apple ID, tap it and view it, and look for Hidden Purchases.
