Updated iPhone SE to 15.7.1 an hour ago and mail is no longer syncing between phone and iPad mini. No problems before update. Can someone help please? Thanks.

Hello Jet631,

Thanks for your post to Apple Support Communities. We see you need help with your Mail on your iPhone after an update. You mention it isn't syncing with your iPad mini. We have some questions about the details of the issue.

Who is your email provider?

When you say it isn't syncing, do you mean if you aren't getting the same emails on your iPhone and your iPad mini? What specifically isn't syncing with Mail?

Are you able to use Mail on your iPhone for sending and receiving emails as normal?

You may need to look at your account settings on your iPhone at Settings > Mail > Accounts > [account name]. Make sure you have Mail enabled, then tap on Accounts again to check your configuration settings, username, and email password.

Reply back to let us know what you find.

Best regards.

Thanks for replying.

I receive all new emails on my iPad (mini 4), iPhone (SE 22) and MacBook Air. If I move a Mail to a different folder on my iPhone or MacBook this happens everywhere, as it should. However, the specific problem is that when I move emails to a folder on my iPad this is NOT reflected on the iPhone, MacBook or in the BT Email app.

I have checked settings and all look to be the same and correct.

This problem only started since I updated all three devices a couple of days ago. My iPad is now on 15.7.1, my iPhone on 16.1.1 and my MacBook on Ventura 13.0.1

Any ideas please?

Thanks a lot
