iPhone 14 pro apps not showing on home screen

Just got a new iPhone 14 Pro. I went to download an app for work and in the app store it now says "open" instead of "get" however the icon is not on my home screen. Why is this happening?

It's not on any of the pages. App runs great but I can't access it except in the App Store.

A friend just figured it out for me! The setting to have them get added to the home screen was off by default.

Could it be on one of the other pages? Did you hit "Open" to make sure it runs?
