Saving multiple attachments in iOS 16

None of the methods suggested to do this work.

Press and hold one attachment then add the others with another finger does add to the others and you have a small blue box indicating how many there are in the “collection” but as soon as you let go the action to save disappears.

If anyone knows how to get from 5 attachments in a group under your finger to SAVING to some location please let me know.

Apple, if this is not possible please, for the love of God, tell me.

This doesn’t answer my question which is how do you save multiple email attachments at the same time.

Can you help with that? At the moment I have to save each one individually which takes a long time when there are 12 attached files.
