should all of this being constantly running?

hi lately my imac 12,1 got very slow and suddenly there `are all of this running constantly since startup and restarting if i try to quit any of them from Activity Monitor

should be running? in case how to stop this? because i can barely use Ableton lately

I'm going to guess which Mac this is: one of the 8 GB hard disk drive Mac models.

Removing Clean My Mac can potentially reduce activity, as can removing the Google apps.


But if this is one of the 8 GB / hard disk models as I might suspect, your least-bad upgrade short of a newer (used, refurb) or new Mac is to an external SSD. Unfortunately for this approach, the only fast external I/O connection you have here is Thunderbolt, as the iMac 2011 models had USB 2. Thunderbolt storage is more expensive. Well, removing CleanMyMac should help.


We need to see what all is running, a report from this will not display any personal info...
