Copy and Paste changed in OSX Ventura

I have recently upgraded to OSX Ventura and am having issues with Copy and Paste.

Using Vectorworks, previously when copying from excel and pasting into Vectorworks the item/object would show up as a 'PDF' and not when pasting it shows up as a 'bitmap'

I have tried replicating the fault on a previous version of OSX and am unable to. It seems to be an issue since updating the OSX of my laptop.

Any help greatly appreciated

I’m Running vectorworks version 2023. I contacted vectorworks this morning and they mentioned that as Apple has changed the way data is stored on the clip board for the ability to easily copy and paste across multiple devices might be the issue.

Colleagues at my workplace are running vectorworks 2023 on osx Monterey and big sur still are able to paste copied cells as pdf!

any other thoughts?
