Active windows become inactive after installing Ventura

I noticed an issue recently after installing Ventura. Every time I am on an active window, it randomly becomes inactive. For example, when I am typing in Microsoft word, that window is currently active. My Google Chrome browser is inactive. You can tell this because it is in the background of my Microsoft word. While I am typing on Word, randomly my Word window becomes inactive. So both my Google Chrome browser and Word are now inactive at the same time. This is an example of the issue I have been having, so I hope I explained it in a way that everyone could understand.

Anyways, this happens constantly no matter what window I have that is currently active. It would randomly become inactive. Does anyone know what the issue might be? I had to downgrade my macos back to Monterey and I no longer have the inactive window issue.

Hello ChezaLovely,

To. help determine the cause and resolve this issue, start your MacBook Pro in safe mode to see if the same thing happens. Safe mode can bypass software that can cause issues and clear caches.
