My series 1 iwatch got locked due to many attempts of wrong passcode, i have followed the steps on how to reset however upon pressing the crown button there’s no reset appearing on the watch screen

To force restart your Apple Watch, press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, then release both buttons when you see the Apple logo."
