scroll

I have a 5 month old iMac Studio and just updated the operating system last night. While using the Music application, the scroll bar in browser mode will not stay in one place. If I scroll down, it automatically scrolls back to the top very quickly. It is practically useless if I am trying to select two different albums at the same time. Even with my mouse holding the scroll bar, it automatically scrolls back to the top. I can't solve the problem no matter what I try. the scroll also sometimes limits me to what's on the screen. That is, it won't scroll down to other albums the artists may have made even when I have all of them selected. Additionally, I am not able to scroll down the list of playlists. I have to select them individually if I want to go to one of them. Sometimes, turning the system off and restarting solves one of the problems. But, others can not be solved. I have the Ventura Operating System installed.

Hey Scrollproblem,

To clarify, did this issue begin after updating to Ventura or was it present on previous versions of macOS?

Also, to clarify, you're using the web Music app at music.apple.com and not the desktop app, is that right? If you're using the browser version, does this problem persist across multiple browsers?

How about in safe mode?

Let us know and we'll continue based on those details.

Cheers!
