Change Wallpaper from the Lock Screen doesn't work

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities! Make sure that you have Face ID set up as its a requirement to edit your wallpaper from the Lock Screen. Find the steps below to make the adjustments from the article Change the wallpaper on your iPhone:

1. "Make sure that you previously set up Face ID on your iPhone. To change your wallpaper from the Lock Screen, Face ID must clearly see your eyes and the areas around them.
2. On the Lock Screen, touch and hold your Lock Screen to open your wallpaper gallery.
3. To select a wallpaper you already created, swipe left and right. To add a new wallpaper, tap the Add button "

If you've followed these steps and are still unable to edit it, make sure that your software is running the latest version of iOS 16, as a few versions have been released since launch: Update your iPhone or iPad.
