how do I create a playlist from search results in my library

Hello, I wanted to create a playlist based off of all my Christmas songs I have in my library. I searched my library for the word Christmas and received a result set from my library and I want to add all these songs to a Christmas playlist. I am unable to use the function "select all" and right click and add to playlist. I thought maybe I could try to select the first song and use the Alt command thing to select them all but that doesn't seem to work either... As soon as I click on the first result it opens it up in play mode. Very strange, am I missing something in the app to accomplish this task? Thanks.
