Transferring data to a new phone
How do I know that the transfer of data from my old phone to the cloud is completed? Can I start setting up new phone while that is in process?

I recommend that you wait until the transfer is completed. This is because most of the settings should also transfer from the old iPhone to your new iPhone. Once the transfer has been completed, then you can begin fine tuning the settings if needed.
