IPad Pro 12.9 2022 6th Generation Cable Issue

My iPad Pro cable from box purchase is not compatible with my stand alone desktop computer. Is there a cable that will fit my iPad and other end compatible with older USB so that I can upload from iPad to computer as well as down load from computer to iPad Pro?

The tags appended to your post suggests that you have a sixth generation iPad Pro 12.9”. This iPad has a USB-C port - and will have been supplied with both a 20W USB-C Power Adapter and a USB-C to USB-C charging/data cable.

If you computer has older USB Type-A (rectangular) USB ports, you’ll need a certified USB Type-A to USB-C cable - these being readily available from good computer retailers and Apple:

  • mophie USB-A Cable with USB-C Connector (1 m)
