There is no search button on my Apple Tv

I am trying to locate the ESPN + app to watch on my TV, however, there is no “search” icon anywhere in my menus. We have purchased the ESPN+ package, but can’t locate it anywhere! Not on Roku, Amazon stick or my Apple TV. And i can’t locate the App Store icon for my Apple TV. And yes, it is updated, as are my two tv’s, and both TV’s are smart tv’s. HELP PLEASE! I am so frustrated!

This subscription service is part of the ESPN app. You must download the ESPN app from the app store to be able to login.

Do you know what version of Apple TV you have? You can use this web page to determine your model: Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support. Your device must be an HD model (3rd gen.) or higher to be able to access the app store.

If your Apple TV is prior to the HD model, you will have the ESPN app already on the device. All you need to do is login to that app with your new ESPN+ account.
