Notification on screen

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.

In iOS 16, the notifications are now on the bottom. They cannot be altered to move to the top. This is designed to allow space for the dynamic island on the new iPhones. You can learn more about notifications here: Use notifications on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

I am sure it made sense to someone to put notifications at the bottom where they are naturally hidden by your thumb when you pick up the phone and not in middle of eye focus so you can see them.!

adding annoying changes with no option don’t qualify as “upgrades”

I agree. This is completely ridiculous and extremely poor design.

It's been at the top for years, why on earth has it been changed?! Change for the sake of change!

What is "dynamic island" ?
