Is an Ipad pro better than a MacBook Pro

Hi,

I have recently got a social media and marketing job and want to know if the Ipad Pro is better than the MacBook Pro for editing and marketing.

I want something easy to use and light weight so i am able to take it to and from home that i will be marketing as well as being able to update stuff from cameras and video cameras fast.

Any tips will be great.

Bear in mind that an iPad can only get apps from the App Store. If your job requires any 3rd party apps not available there, you need a laptop or other full computer to use them.

There is no comparison! 😉

A MacBook Pro is a real computer with a fully functional operating system running on a machine that has more than one port and a dedicated keyboard with built-in trackpad.

An iPad Pro is not able to run Mac pro apps, despite "Pro" being in the name.

The iPad Pro is more flexible with its detachable keyboard, Apple Pencil support, touchscreen and much better cameras built-in.

Unlike a MacBook Pro, you won’t get MagSafe charging.

What is MagSafe, you may ask?

MagSafe is a proprietary technology from Apple to magnetically attach a wired charger to your Apple device.

Mag = Magnetic (can detach if accidentally tripped on cord or yanked off desk).

Safe = Safely protects against damage to the Apple device.

As for which to choose, that’s entirely subjective to your needs.

You really need to see them in person to compare.
