Home Screen / app layout won’t stick

i spent some time tediously rearranging my apps on my Home Screen and using the new widget features. Got it to a good place. The apps I use often are one the first page, the apps I use less often are on the second page, etc.

i put the phone to charge overnight and the next day, the app layout had reverted back to the previous layout.

this has now happened several times. It’s not always after a nights charge and now seems to glitch like this at random.

sometimes the home screens will mix and match - meaning, I’ll get one home screen with the new optimized app layout and another Home Screen with the old layout.

I have no idea what’s happening or why but it Seems to have started with the latest iOS update.

Any one else dealing with this?

Hello captain_andy,

Do Not Disturb does allow you to manage which Home Screen pages you have access to when it's enabled. That info and more can be found in Use Do Not Disturb with Focus on your iPhone or iPad. If you'd like to ensure all of your Home Screen pages appear while Do Not Disturb is enabled, follow the steps below:

"Change your Do Not Disturb settings

If you don't want to be disturbed at a certain time, you can set a schedule and change other Do Not Disturb features to help you concentrate.

  1. Go to Settings > Focus.
  2. Tap Do Not Disturb.
  3. You can select allowed or silenced notifications from people and apps, connect your Lock Screen or Home Screen, have this Focus turn on automatically, and add Focus filters."

Cheers!
