black dot on macbook pro 14” screen

hello!

i got my macbook 14” a month and a half ago, I’ve been treating it like the most precious thing in the world. that’s why I’m so upset to see a black dot on my screen. it annoys me so much even though it’s only been 5 minutes since I spotted it.

I don’t know if it’s dust or stuck/dead pixel.

moreover, it was purchased in the USA and I’m currently in Russia, so I have no opportunity to go to service.

Well, you will have to take it in to get an official response. Nothing can be done here on line.

If it was me I would ignore it and not fixate on it.

About LCD display pixel anomalies for Apple products ...

From your normal view screen shot it looks very tiny— single dead pixels are not addressed, a cluster of pixels would be an issue if sizable.
