Wired Apple EarPods not working with my iPhone
I have an iphone7 plus I just plugged in my apple earbuds and they won’t work/connect to the sound coming from my iPhone, how do I get them to work?

Check the charging port for lint or other debris (use a bright light and a toothpick) and see this:
