raw Photos go lower resolution after editing

I recently updated to Ventura. Today, I edited some raw photos, and once I was out of the editor, the photos looked like they do a split second before all the raw info comes in, i.e. a bit fuzzy and low resolution. The thumbnails look fine and if I hit edit, the entire picture comes out clear. If I switch to a different pic, and hit edit for it, the new one becomes clear, but the old one goes back to fuzzy. If I play a slideshow of the pics, all I get is fuzzy. All the pics I have NOT edited load and look normal, as do previously edited photos. I also cannot share any of today's edited photos, but the unedited ones, no problem.

I've restarted both the computer and photos, no difference.

How do I fix this mess? Do I need to revert to the previous OS?

I have 90K photos, never had this issue.

Below is a link to a screen shot video showing what I'm talking about.
