Alarm Playing Wrong Sound

I recently decided to change my alarm sounds to some songs I have in my Apple Music library. I've noticed they don't ever play at their selected times though. I read another community post for this issue with iOS14, but I'm currently using iOS 16.1.1 on an iPhone 12. I've made sure the songs I want to here have been downloaded for offline listening, I've even deleted my existing alarms to make a new sound selection instead of editing a previously selected sound, and have also tried a hard reset to see if maybe that would help. Nothing seems to have worked. How do I get the songs I selected to play as my alarm sounds?
