If I upgrade to Catalina on my MacBook Pro Mojave 10.14.6, will I lose my word docs done on Word 2016? I tried installing the update for Word 2016, but it won't install on a Mac unless it is 10.15 or greater. Need help and understandable answers.

How can I save my documents before losing them upon upgrading to Catalina?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.14
