I just went from an IPhone 8 to an Iphone 14 and my earbuds do connect but my Home Screen does not show the headset icon on my Home Screen. I go between my phone and Ipad a lot so this really helps knowing which one they are connected to.

Are you able to see it if you launch Control Center by swiping down from the top-right corner of your screen?

Yes it does show I guess that’s the only way to see it disappointing because it showed on Lock Screen on my old phone.
