Private Browsing Mode - iPhone - Displaying Previously Visited Sites

When I search using Private Browsing Mode, previously visited sites are automatically displayed. Can I prevent this?

EXAMPLE:

This is the screen of Private Browsing Mode prior to entering anything. It says it won’t remember “pages you’ve visited”.

This is what appears after typing just the letter ‘ d ‘ into the search bar. It automatically shows pages I’ve visited. !

Read what that message says. It is very brief but it is completely correct: your iPhone will not remember the sites you visited and it will not retain your browsing or search history — upon exiting Private Browsing. That is its sole purpose.

I noticed you are using Google, which on the other hand remembers everything. Forever. Private browsing doesn't help with that.
