Problem emptying the bin on my Macbook Air M1

Everytime I try to empty the bin on my new Macbook Air M1, it is so slow. It takes hours!!!!

It is loaded with Ventura 13.0

Really hoping that Apple will fix this bug as I need to restart machine to delete file.

Any thoughts??

I can't empty the bin in Ventura 13.2.1 If I CTYRL-Click on the bin and select "Empty Bin" the empty bin window pops up and won't go away. I have to "Force Quit" the finder or re-boot the machine. Anyone else got this problem or a fix? It is only affecting this new Mac mini M1 2020, machines running older OS versions are not affected.

Emptying bin (trash) is stuck forever MAC update Ventura 13.5 did not fix the problem Emptying bin (trash) is stuck on Ventura 13.5 as well - the trash is hanging. Not sure why it takes too long to fix this bug! TechSupport suggested to run Disc Utility - I ran it and it did not help to resume empty trash still hanging and spinning forever! I hope empty trash will be fixed soon! Good lucj with P0 bug fix
