My apple id or password isn't working

It sounds like your Apple ID password isn't working. If that's the case, you can use these steps to reset it:


  1. Go to Settings on a trusted device. (a device that is already signed into this Apple ID)
  2. Tap your name > Password & Security > Change Password.
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions to reset your password.
