How do I stop Siri from abbreviating what I dictate?

When using speech to text, I am often frustrated that "Siri" takes it upon itself to abbreviate things like "quarter to nine" to "8:45", or "two hundred" to "200." I don't want this!

Is there a setting somewhere that will force "Siri" to make the text EXACTLY what I say?

Siri voice dictation why does Siri always type "some thing" in voice dictation instead of "something". It does this with a lot of other words also. Like if I say a pick up truck and I’m going to pick up groceries at the store which I am doing right now with voice dictation to show what I mean, there’s no differentiation between pick up one word or pick up two words. Or I wear my every day pants every day. One of those should be one word I know I’m not using any kind of paws in between the words, so I don’t understand why it won’t spell them correctly.

Stop Siri from saying Mmhm Is there any way to stop Siri from responding with” Mmhmm” when I say “Hey Siri?” I would prefer that she say “Yes, Alan?”

Depends on the command or phrase passed on to Siri.

No. If you say "one hundred apples" it always creates "100 apples."
