Watch Series 8 - battery issue

Does anyone face battery leak issues with apple watch 8? Its consuming 10% charge for 1hr. I tried restarting and unpairing.

They couldn’t find any issues and returned me the watch. Also, they said it will take 7 days to resolve the issue since watch is new and it required time to update the app.

By leak, if you mean an internal battery leak then you could try charging to 100% before bedtime, then turn it right off. (Turning Watch off and on is not something you would normally do)

  1. If your Apple Watch is charging, take it off the charger.
  2. Press and hold the side button until you see the power button  in the upper-right corner of the display.
  3. Tap the power button.
  4. Drag the Power Off slider.

Then in the morning turn it back on

Press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo.

If the battery is less than say 95% then there could be a battery issue. Apple do not do these internal leak tests
