Volume always going up unexpectedly

Recently, my iPhone’s volume randomly started going up when I had no idea and whatever I’m watching will be loud in a quiet room. I know for sure I am not pressing the volume button and I constantly need to check if the volume is down. What do I do about this?

Randomly low volume on iPhone 12 Pro Hello all! I've been having this issue for a while, on my iPhone 12 Pro. The volume when listening to music, watching YouTube, TikTok, etc. It will randomly lower, but the actual audio slider won't it will still be at max volume but get very quiet. I've followed other instructions such as turn off audio awareness, and other settings but nothing seems to be working. And phone calls too Has anyone else had this issue and managed to fix it? Hi lenn1992,

For help with the volume on your iPhone, test the issue after temporarily removing any protective case from your iPhone.

If the issue continues, clean your iPhone and check the volume button area. The steps here will assist: Cleaning your iPhone
