iOS 16.1 wi fi issues

Running iOS 16.1 on 11 pro and lose wi fi all the time. Tried network reset a few time and it’s no better

I know it isn’t the wi fi as have a 12 for work use and that’s on 15.7 and connects every time, as do other devices in house hold.

any advice ?

Hi bman2,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today.

We'd first advise updating to iOS 16.1.1 to make sure the issue isn't related to an outdated version of iOS. Here is how to Update your iPhone or iPad.

Resetting Network Settings was a great step and you have likely also tried most of these steps, but double-check: If your iPhone or iPad won't connect to a Wi-Fi network. We'd still advise restarting your router even if other devices are working correctly on your network. This may trigger the iPhone to get reconnected.

If that doesn't work, you'll want to isolate the issue a little further and test connecting to another Wi-Fi network. If it doesn't connect the issue is isolated to your device and service would be required. If it does connect, then the issue is with your Wi-Fi network and we'd advise contacting your ISP or the router manufacturer.

Have a fantastic day!
