iTunes for Windows opens to blank white screen
Since last night (10/11/2022) my iTunes (62bit) for Windows has been opening only to a blank white screen.
The issue started when I had tried downloading and adding multiple songs from an artist's profile to one of my playlists. It started lagging a little and not adding the songs I'd selected to the playlist, so I decided to try closing and opening iTunes again. Except this time, it just opened to a blank white screen with the mouse point eternally loading, and trying to close the window didn't work. It was late at night so I decided to leave it for the next day, thinking that it was just an issue that needed a restart to resolve on it's own. Except, the issue has persisted to the next day, today, and nothing I do helps. My laptop went through updates last night -- I have Windows 11. I thought this might have done something to the program, but I don't see how that could be the case as this hasn't happened before. I've trawled through forums and tried the fixes -- uninstalling every iTunes related app on my laptop and reinstalling, trying to reinstall by running as administrator, trying to install older version of iTunes for Windows. The only way I can close it when it's open is with 'End Task' on Task Manager. I don't get any kind of message or alert or anything as to why this is happening. Absolutely nothing works, and I don't know what to do.
I've attached a screenshot of what the app looks like when I open it.
For reference, I used this forum to try and figure this out myself
