No sound when making or receiving calls.

I received a new iphone 14 yesterday. When making or receiving calls, there is no sound unless i turn on the speaker. The caller can hear me, but on my side, there is no sound. Please advise.

You should take your iPhone to an Authorized Apple Service Provider and let them diagnose it, which would be the fastest way to get a result.

Use this link to find one next to your place:

Apple - Find Locations

Or contact Apple Support to discuss service options.

Any Bluetooth headphones connected to the iPhone?

Do you have a case or protective film attached to the iPhone that is covering the speaker on top of the screen?

Did you make sure that the volume is turned up during the call by pressing the volume up button on the side of the phone?
