Hi Coachtb110,

The following steps address what you're describing specifically even if you are not using Apple Music or Sync Library, and should provide a solution:

"If a song is greyed out

If you see No Longer Available next to a song that's greyed out, the song was added from Apple Music and was removed from the Apple Music catalogue.

Find out what the different cloud icons and symbols next to your songs mean in the Apple Music app

Search for the missing song on your computer

  1. Search your Mac or PC for the missing song.
  2. If you find the missing song, drag the song to the Apple Music app or iTunes.
  3. In the Apple Music app or iTunes, choose File > Library > Update Cloud Library."

You can find these steps along with other information that may be helpful, here: If songs are missing from your music library after you turn on Sync Library –

If you have followed the steps correctly and you still have the issue, let us know if you get any specific alerts or error messages when trying, as those may help us determine what might be causing the issue.

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
