Audio and Video Transcription on Mac into a text format to a Word Document

Does an iMac have the capability with dictation feature built in to transcribe audio and videos to

a word document? Have an article from the internet showing the steps but Apple Support says it has has no application to do that feature. If not, what would be the best third party to use with free subscription?
